Changing Faces

In this episode we talk about adult friendships. As we age we start to really dissect and reevaluate our friendships. Some of us grow apart but do we really have to though? We talk so much about communication but drop the ball when it comes to those who were there by your side at one point in time. I'm not talking about the ones who were toxic and needed to be cut and burned. Leave those be. Some times we get so caught up in life that we forget to reach out to those that had our back until we standing at the pulpit telling stories over caskets. It's a total change when our friends are split across the continent or continents. We get into this who's going to call first mindset. Who's going to plan first ideation. We lose time that way. If you love those close to you then keep them close. To my friends that are not near, I hope you're still close. That's why I'll always be the first. It doesn't matter. A simple check-in text is all someone needs, sometimes.
